Vaping Awareness

I would like to help shine the light on a growing concern in our school and schools across the country – the use of e-cigarettes, vapes, JUUL’s, and other ENDS products. We continue to work closely with our students to raise awareness about the harmful nature of these products. It is also my goal to work with our parents and families as we work together to eradicate this problem. As we all work to gain more information on this topic, a couple of things to keep in mind: a) the use of these products are not only against school policy, but they are illegal, b) research continues to show that the use of these products is no less harmful to teens than other tobacco products, c) research also shows that these products are commonly gateway products that can lead to drug usage amongst teens. I have included some additional information below. I hope you will take the time to read it as we work together to educate our youth about the dangers of ENDS products.
